Dear friend,

we would like to invite you to participate in the project FRACK.

FRACK is based on cooperation and aims at a re-definition of artistic and spiritual economics.

We are asking you to donate a clean piece of clothing: women's, men's or children's wear, new or used, of any color and size.

Each piece of clothing will form part of the exhibition FRACK. The first exhibition will take place in Amsterdam from May 31 till June 30, 1996 at W139. All donors will be mentioned in a list of names and in the publication accompanying the exhibition, provided they agree to this procedure. Names however, will not specifically be attached to pieces of clothing so as to hinder the attempt to differentiate between more and less important objects...

FRACK has as many authors as donors.

You can also donate more than one piece of clothing. The more clothes that come together, the better it will be.

You can curate a part of FRACK by collecting clothes from people whom you know or would like to know.

Perhaps you could also pass on this letter to your friends, acquaintances, relatives.

All clothes should be delivered or posted by April 15, 1996 to one of the undermentioned collecting centers (don't forget to mark the parcel "FRACK " and include the name of the sender).

Throughout April we will be trying to organize further collecting centers.
